Recycle for a Clean Environment!

Unfortunately, the amount of human-generated household waste in every country on Earth far exceeds sustainable levels.

When we recycle 1 ton of paper, we save approximately 17 old trees from being cut down (1.41 tons of solid wood).

Recycling 1 ton of plastic waste saves at least half a ton of petroleum and at least 0.2 tons of natural gas.

Recycling 1 ton of glass saves 0.66 tons of sand and 0.1 tons of limestone.

Recycling 1 million mobile phones yields 250 kg of silver, 24 kg of gold, 9 kg of palladium, and 9 tons of copper.

As responsible citizens, it is our duty to dispose of waste properly. We have this obligation both at home and in the workplace or at school.

Waste must be collected in separate containers.
